Naomi: Homer, IL

Last weekend I visited one of my favorite places on earth: Homer, IL. My best friend’s parents live in an old farmhouse which is big enough to hold everyone in the family. Considering this is an Italian family, that can mean a lot of people! While I was there, I was asked to take pictures of little Naomi, who just turned six months old. As you can see from her baby pictures, she is an absolute doll and quick to smile. With a ton of gorgeous natural light streaming in through the window, Naomi shone in all of her baby beauty. To top it all off, she already has a nickname, Omi. How cute is that?

Kelly and Osama: Oak Brook, IL

While I had not met Kelly and Osama before their special day, I felt like we could be fast friends.

This beautiful couple had already gotten hitched at the courthouse but decided to throw themselves a party to celebrate the occasion with family and friends. Kelly and her family had so much fun while getting prepared that we realized it was soon time to meet everyone at the restaurant.

While Kelly and Osama greeted their guests, I marveled at all of the details that were present at each table. So much thought was put into this garden-themed soiree that I could have spent all afternoon photographing the special touches. The event, short but sweet, left me with a big smile on my face for the rest of the day.
